I am a guitar, bass, ukulele and vocal tutor in the Ipswich area. I teach students of all ages and in most styles, but specialise in pop, rock, blues, jazz & funk. My teaching style is relaxed and flexible and very much depends on the student, but I endeavor to make lessons interesting and fun. Most lessons are one hour in duration, but sometimes are shortened for younger children.
It doesn't matter whether you're a complete beginner or a serious musician, it's so important to make sure you find the right teacher. As well as 30 years of playing experience I have grades in Guitar, Piano and Theory. As a requirement for the teaching I do in primary and high schools I am also CRB Checked.

I am a professional and qualified guitar/bass teacher having achieved following qualifications: Grade 6 – RGT – (London College of Music) for Electric Guitar, Grade 5 – Piano & Theory – ABRSM and an Access to Music - OCN Level 3 – Instrumental Music Facilitator Course.
I have been teaching in local high schools for about 20 years and also teach privately from my studio in the Martlesham Heath area. My teaching experience and passion for guitar gives me a large amount of knowledge and experience that I would love to pass onto you as a student.
I am a very friendly and experienced teacher, my lessons are very informal and easy to follow. Should you ever need to make or change a booking I am very easy and quick to contact.
